Matthew McCall began his career in the fire service in 2013 and obtained his firefighter 2 and AEMT certification. He served 9 years with Hall County Fire Services. He started his career with West Jackson Fire Department as a part time firefighter in August of 2021, and became a full-time member in December of 2022. He currently serves as the FAO of Truck 31 on C-shift. During his career he has obtained numerous NPQ and Pro Board certifications. Some of those certifications include FAO for engine and aerial apparatus, Instructor 1, Fire officer 1 and 2, and technical rescue certified in all disciplines Rope, trench, confined space, and structural collapse. He is currently also a member of GSAR Task Force 1 rescue team. He is also a highly trained member of the drone team at WJFD.
He is married to his high school sweetheart since 2014 and they have an amazing 9-year-old daughter. During his free time, he enjoys anything outdoors but admits that his favorite thing to do is go play golf with friends.
