Nevan Norrell is a part-time firefighter. He started as a volunteer and then joined the department in 2022. Nevan obtained his EMT-B in 2021. Nevan attended the University of Georgia and is now enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree at Augusta University in Athens, GA. Nevan has multiple certificates such as Firefighter 1 and 2, HazMat Awareness and Operations, and a Commercial Driver’s License. Despite pursuing a career in nursing, the fire service is something that he enjoys and will strive to continue to do throughout his life. In his spare time he enjoys working out and hiking outdoors.
