Tony Harris, Vice-Chairman
Town of Braselton
Tony Harris has lived in his current residence in Braselton for 19 years, moving there from Hoschton. Tony grew up in Gwinnett county and South Florida but spent summers with his grandparents in the Braselton area. He currently lives with his wife Kelley and three daughters. Tony joined WJFD as a volunteer firefighter in 2003 and became an EMT in 2005. He later took a career position with the department until 2013. In 2014, he took a job with a metro Atlanta county as a firefighter. He was elected to the West Jackson Fire Board in 2014, representing the Town of Braselton and took office in 2015. He joined the Board with intent of making sure the department has the resources and support to provide the best fire protection services to his community. Tony was re-elected in 2018 and again in 2022. He has been appointed Vice-Chairman by the Fire Board members since 2020. “It has been a pleasure to see WJFD go from a single station volunteer department to a two-station department with 3 staffed apparatus. I look forward to seeing the department grow with the West Jackson community.”
